Design 2276 C1 Orion 35

Back in January we posted an article about the Pari 34. The Orion utilizes the same hull form but with a redesigned deck and interior. Where the Pari 34 was cold molded, the Orion was built of fiberglass. Here's a brief article that tells the story. Please double click for zoom.

Here are the plans.

This 3/4 tonner is quite beamy (almost 11') and has a 47' ballast/displacement ratio which produces a very stiff boat. In addition she has low wetted surface and along with her tall rig should be a boat that sails well in light air.
LOA 34'-6"
LWL 28'-9"
Beam 10'-10"
Draft 6'-0"
Displacement 9,895 lbs
Ballast 4,700 lbs
Sail Area 512 sq ft
